Tending the Driftless Oaks with Lee Farese

A day-long workshop exploring the ecology of Driftless landscapes and our role within them as stewards.

With a focus on oaks and oak woodlands, our conversation will range from identification to planting trees, the role of burning and more. Part discussion, part hands-on learning, we’ll spend the day deepening our ability to read the land, and practicing tools to take care of it the best we can.

From 10am-3pm

$30-$50 Sliding scale

Bring your own picnic lunch, gloves, handsaws, and any other pruning tools if you have them!
