Bird Bonanza! Family Bird Day with Ida Rotto and Lee Farese

About the Event

Come stoke your households’ bird learning as we head into the autumn season and migration begins. Join on your own or bring your whole family (though kids will need accompaniment) for a day of FuN with the autumn birds of North East Iowa! We will tune our ears to the conversations that are happening around us, learning the nuts and bolts of bird identification and communication. There will be an array of activities for different ages, children adventuring and learning in motion and adults diving into observation and conversation, culminating together in a big group game in which we will get to experience life as a bird! (Roles included for any physical ability.)

We’d love to have you with us!

10am - 2pm

Kids (ages 5-16) $10

We’ll need a minimum of 16 people to make our game work and we’re only a week out so spread the word and invite your friends!
